QTE Approach

Posted by David Martin on

We started thinking about the blog approach for QTE Solutions and before we even started writing I was bored with the ideas we had. Then I realized that what I wanted to do here is not just write  a blog on the technology,  the application or the benefits of barcode labeling and RFID, what I wanted for the Blog is much more than that. I want it to be personal and professional. What I determined is that we are not here to just promote technology solutions or extoll our accomplishments or repeat what others are doing but to provide information and insight that reflect years of experience and ideas on what makes a good company great and what makes a good solution great.

In our experience what gets lost in all the technical jargon is the usefulness of the solution if not the elegance. Really Smart Solutions, what I call RSS, are simple, elegant and solve real problems. They fit the product (s) to the requirements and offer real value to the customer.

We will provide industry information and we will discuss products that you can utilize, but we will personalize it, we will also offer our opinions on technologies, business ethics, project management, customer loyalty and any other subject that is of interest.

A sample of subjects that we will address in this blog are:

  • How did we get here? Barcodes and labeling have now been around for close to fifty (50) years (1974 to be exact). What is the history and why is that important?
  • Compliance and the evolution of standards.
  • How do we utilize our existing assets (software, systems, hardware, resources) to meet changing requirements without breaking our budgets every year!
  • What is a Trusted Advisor and why should that be a goal for all business relationships?
  • Who will win the Super Bowl and why? Clearly, this subject (s) is not related to our industry Blog but we will find a way to fit this and other sports related subjects into our posts.
